Checkride Process & Service Fees

Checkrides-

Service fees depend on the type of Practical Test, knowledge test results, and services needed. Please get in touch with me for pricing for your situation.

Scheduling Fee-

A Non-Refundable Scheduling Fee of $500.00 plus 4% Credit Card

processing fees will be charged at the time that the applicant and I agree on a date for the Practical Test. This fee will cover the time involved in putting the request in DMS to get authorization to do the Practical Test and the time spent developing the Plan of Action scenario for the specific questions missed on the written test. This fee will be applied to the total fee of the Practical Test.

Payment Methods- 

-- Cash--Venmo--PayPal--Flight School Check--Add a 4%

fee to all but Cash and Flight School Check payments.

​Eligibility-

If applicant is not eligible to take test (Requirements not met, or other issues) full exam fee may be charged and re-exam fee will be charged at reschedule.

Waiting- 

If unforeseen weather, emergency or other delay should occur please let us know asap. Have good communication with Mitch on your arrival. Please be early and ready to go at your scheduled testing time. Do not be late.

Cancellation- 

Please cancel as soon as possible if an unforeseen issue arises. Depending on the circumstance a reschedule fee may apply.

Aircraft-

If the aircraft is not compliant or airworthy, the applicant will be issued a Discontinuance or a Letter of Disapproval, depending on the situation. A re-exam fee will apply when the issue is resolved.

IACRA-

All efforts should be made to use IACRA, and you must know your

login information.

Retest-

Retest (within 60 days) $750 - $1000.00 depending on tasks needed.

Continuance-

Continuance (within 60 days) A discontinuance fee may be charged

depending on the situation and time needed.

(IPC) Instrument Proficiency Check, Light Sport Proficiency Checks, Light

Sport Add Ons- Tower, Biennial Flight Review, CFI Renewals (Call for Current

Pricing)
